Changes that Heal is a really good book for Christians. I can say it is a life changing book. This is written by Henry Cloud - a famous Christian Counsellor and written many books including the "Boundaries" series.. Boundaries, Boundaries with Kids, Boundaries with Teens, Boundaries in marriage, Boundaries face to face, etc. Many of his books are written with John Townsend.

Author has quoted lots of Bible scriptures and telling us that God teaches us how to "run" our daily life and cope with God, ourseleves, people, etc.

As Christians, we face many problems in our daily and church life. Many of us deal with the same problem repeatedly but cannot recover or get through from them. Why? Because we have been affected by "something wrong" or "someone wrong" long time ago or in recent moments. And we may not know we are still being "affected". Many Christians do not understand that something or someone is infuencing them even if those things or people is not around for long time.

This book bring us to "cope with" problem, but not to "escape". So reading this book have to be a bit brave. We usually learn a lot after we face the problem and solve it. If we escape, problem still exists and still affects us.

One of the important part of the book is to tell about how to set "boundaries". Boundary-setting is difficult task especially for boundary looser. But to set proper boundaries will be beneficial to both parties. The one who set good boundaries can have happier life. Like Jesus, he know what time to do what things, what time and in what extend to deal with what kinds of people. We need wisdom to set boundaries.

By reading that book, you better find a place and time that you can read it a bit slow and can have room for deliberating. DON'T RUSH!

One very important thing have to bear in mind. When reading this book, you may find that some of your attitudes or habits are TOTALLY WRONG. However they may be very difficult to be changed by yourself, you MUST PRAY for them and SURRENDER to God. SURRENDER IS THE KEY! He is really have such ability to change your mind, your thoughts and your believes if you let him to take the full control. After your mind is changed, your attitude and actions will be changed accordingly. Then you can repent and ask for God's forgiveness for your wrongdoings and thoughts. If you really repent, God will forgive you. Don't give room for you or Santan to accuse you.

Many things about this book to talk about.. Hope that you can be benefit by reading it and cope with the things you need to deal with.
